Job Overview: The position of Specialist for the IT Infrastructure of the German Sustainability Code (DNK) involves overseeing the development, implementation, and operation of the DNK platform's IT infrastructure. This role is crucial as it supports the German government's initiative to promote sustainability reporting among companies of all sizes. The DNK serves as a reporting standard that organizations can utilize free of charge, particularly aiding small and medium-sized enterprises in meeting legal requirements related to sustainability reporting. The specialist will work closely with external service providers and stakeholders to ensure that the IT infrastructure is continuously updated and aligned with the evolving requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The role requires a strong focus on project management and the ability to assess and mitigate risks related to security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">information security and data protection.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Specialist include:
Building, implementing, and operating the IT infrastructure of the DNK platform, with a strong emphasis on project management and coordination with service providers.
Collaborating with DNK stakeholders to define and refine new requirements for the platform.
Evaluating risks related to information security and data protection, and deriving necessary measures for the DNK IT infrastructure.
Coordinating release cycles for integrating new requirements into the IT infrastructure.
Supporting, complementing, and further developing the IT strategy of the DNK.
Taking technical responsibility in collaboration with IT service providers for solutions within the DNK cloud infrastructure, including server and system management.
Monitoring access, budget, and cost management.
Overseeing testing, backup, and recovery plans of service providers.
Assessing errors, coordinating error resolution, and providing support regarding the IT infrastructure.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include:
A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in IT project management, preferably in an agile environment.
Advanced knowledge of IT solutions, architectures, and digitalization processes.
Strong conceptual skills and consulting competencies.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in technical scenarios.
Initial experience in the context of sustainability, particularly in sustainability reporting according to DNK, CSR-RUG/CSRD is advantageous.
Fluent German language skills in both spoken and written form, with negotiation-level English skills being a plus.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field. This educational background is essential for understanding the technical aspects of the IT infrastructure and for effectively managing IT projects within the context of sustainability reporting.
Experience: The position requires several years of professional experience in IT project management, with a preference for candidates who have worked in agile environments. This experience is critical for successfully managing the complexities of the DNK platform's IT infrastructure and ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of stakeholders.
