The intern will play a crucial role in assisting the core team with logistical tasks, participant registration, and overall organization during the conference, which is scheduled to take place from May 15, 2025, to November 14, 202

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: supporting the core team in the planning and implementation of the conference; assisting with logistical arrangements such as participant registration and venue preparation; providing operational support during the conference days; contributing to conference documentation and evaluation processes; helping develop public relations and communication materials; engaging in knowledge management and sector network activities; and being prepared to assist with any unforeseen tasks that may arise during the internship period. This diverse set of responsibilities will enable the intern to gain valuable insights into the workings of international cooperation and event management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in political or social sciences or a related field, ideally with a focus on peace and security. Additionally, initial experience in international cooperation and event management is preferred. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics and work processes is essential. Furthermore, candidates should have very good written and spoken English skills, with a basic understanding and written knowledge of German. Knowledge of another language, particularly French or Spanish, would be considered an advantage. Proficiency in common MS Office applications is also required.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to have a university degree in political or social sciences or a comparable discipline.
