Job Overview:
As a functional coordinator, you will be integrated into a team of six individuals and will work closely with project teams, field finance trainers, and the IT department to ensure proper adoption and evolution of financial and contract management applications. Your role will involve ensuring the functional administration, evolution, user support, and data quality of the organization's financial applications and partnership funding management tools. Specifically, your missions will include providing functional support to users of the defined applications, ensuring maintenance, evolution, and optimization of these applications, and contributing to project realization in support of project managers. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the tools used are effective and meet the needs of the organization, especially in the context of digital transformations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the functional coordinator include:
  • Providing functional support to users of the financial and contract management applications, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize the tools effectively.
  • Maintaining, evolving, and optimizing the applications within the defined scope to ensure they meet the organization's needs.
  • Collaborating with project managers to support the realization of projects, ensuring that the tools and applications are aligned with project goals.
  • Analyzing and managing incidents and changes related to the applications, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Understanding and managing data reference frameworks to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Utilizing reporting and business intelligence tools to generate insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Conducting process analysis, diagnosing anomalies, and resolving complex problems related to the applications.
  • Ensuring compliance with institutional funding management and understanding the lifecycle of funding contracts and partnerships.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include:
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Management, Political Science, or a related field, with a strong interest in digital topics.
  • Mandatory experience in an NGO setting, with a solid understanding of NGO funding, accounting, and budget management.
  • Good comprehension of general and analytical accounting principles.
  • Mastery of budgeting management concepts and cycles.
  • Understanding of institutional funding management and the lifecycle of funding contracts and partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage incidents and changes effectively.
  • Knowledge of data interfaces and flows within the applications in scope.
  • Proficiency in reporting and business intelligence tools, with good analytical capabilities for process analysis and problem-solving.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Finance, Management, Political Science, or an equivalent field. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform the duties associated with the position effectively.

Experience:
Candidates must have significant experience working in an NGO environment, with a strong understanding of NGO funding mechanisms, accounting practices, and budget management. This experience is crucial for ensuring that the candidate can navigate the complexities of financial management within the context of humanitarian work.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Proficiency in English is also highly desirable, as it may be necessary for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders. Additional languages may be considered an asset, depending on the specific needs of the organization.

Additional Notes:
The position is classified as a full-time, permanent contract (CDI) with a salary range of €41,000 to €53,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave per year and 21 RTT days. Health coverage and other benefits are provided, including 80% health insurance coverage by ACF, transport allowances, meal vouchers, and access to social works. The role requires a minimum presence at the headquarters of four days per month, with additional in-person requirements for collective meetings and integration into the team.
