Job Overview:
The position of Coordinator for Case Management within the Humanitarian Workers Protection Mechanism involves contributing to the implementation, technical quality, and development of the mechanism. The role requires managing cases, supporting partners, and applying international protection standards. The coordinator will be responsible for developing and continuously improving tools, procedures, and practices to ensure appropriate and coherent responses aligned with protection standards. The position demands a proactive approach to ensure the safety and well-being of humanitarian workers, focusing on survivor-centered support and effective collaboration with local and national partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Coordinator include:

• Managing the instruction, analysis, and coordination of support requests;
• Receiving, reviewing, and evaluating grant and support requests to ensure compliance with mechanism criteria;
• Conducting needs and risk assessments in collaboration with affected individuals and partners;
• Developing tailored support plans centered on survivors;
• Monitoring cases and protection grants, ensuring follow-up on actions taken by beneficiaries and partner organizations;
• Coordinating with country partners and local actors;
• Identifying and evaluating partners;
• Maintaining partnerships with national and local organizations to enhance the mechanism's activities;
• Supporting the integration of protection through strengthening procedures, tools, and practices; 1
• Co-coordinating the technical working group within the consortium on multidisciplinary case management to promote a harmonized approach to protection issues; 1
• Developing and updating tools, guides, protocols, and technical resources necessary for the mechanism's implementation; 1
• Providing technical support to teams, partners, and stakeholders on protection, gender, and inclusion issues; 1
• Collecting, analyzing, and reporting information to identify trends, emerging needs, and impacts of contextual changes; 1
• Contributing to capitalization efforts, documenting best practices, and producing thematic analyses; 1
• Assisting in defining, updating, and improving the case management strategy in line with international standards and field experiences.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree (master's) in law" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">international law, social sciences, international relations, or a related field, along with additional training in case management or protection-related programming. A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable professional experience in case management and working with vulnerable families, civil society organizations, communities, and individuals is required. A strong understanding of protection guiding principles and survivor-centered approaches is essential. Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Candidates should also have strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel, and demonstrate autonomy, innovation, and adaptability to evolving contexts. Teamwork skills are also crucial.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a master's degree in relevant fields such as international law, social sciences, or international relations. Additional training in case management or programming related to protection is also necessary to ensure the candidate is well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the role.

Experience:
The position requires at least 2 years of professional experience in case management and working with vulnerable populations. • The position is full-time and based in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis. The salary ranges from €32,000 to €41,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave, 21 days of RTT, health coverage with 80% paid by ACF, salary maintenance provisions for illness, maternity, and paternity, transportation allowances covering 50% of the commuting costs, and meal vouchers with 60% covered by the organization.
