Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include:
Participating in the recruitment process for administrative positions and engaging UNVs, consultants, and other personnel.
Evaluating and screening applications, preparing candidate profiles, and conducting preliminary interviews.
Supporting the implementation of recruitment processes for locally recruited staff, including job classification and vacancy announcements.
Assisting in organizing competitive recruitment examinations and maintaining vacancy announcement files.
Organizing and conducting training courses and workshops for staff development.
Providing guidance on HR policies and procedures to UNODC staff in the MENA region.
Monitoring training activities and compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Acting as the focal point for contract management, ensuring timely finalization of contracts and performance evaluations.
Maintaining HR-related automated systems and preparing periodic reports. 1
