Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteer will undertake several key responsibilities, including:
Analyzing daily media monitoring reports that cover various sub-regions of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Producing a Weekly Regional Report that summarizes findings and insights, to be submitted every Friday at noon (Panama Time).
Alternatively, the volunteer may focus on a specific subregion and produce a bi-weekly analytical report, with submission dates coordinated with the supervisor.
Participating in weekly online feedback sessions with the supervisor to discuss progress, challenges, and relevant situational matters.
Utilizing local open-media sources such as newspapers, articles, and other media in local languages to gather information on regional developments.
Ensuring that all reports are comprehensive, accurate, and delivered on time to support the UNDP's mission effectively.
