Job Overview:
The Senior Data Architect (Associate Senior Data Architect) position at the World Bank involves leading the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions that support the organization's operational initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Data Architect include:

• Leading solution delivery teams in the implementation, maintenance, and operation of data and analytics solutions that support the World Bank’s operations.
• Architecting process integrations with various applications and data platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.
• Designing and implementing data extraction and analytical patterns to support various applications within the unit.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders regarding the digital solutions and ensuring readiness for each release.
• Documenting and communicating technical analyses, designs, and specifications effectively.
• Collaborating with the security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Information Security Team to meet security requirements and support testing.
• Identifying systemic issues and applying best practices to design and support IT products and services.
• Defining principles for technology decisions and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Coordinating with vendors and consultants to oversee deliverables and ensure compliance with World Bank standards. 1
• Mentoring junior staff and assisting with IT resource management. 1

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Proven leadership skills in managing large, complex deliverables are essential, with a minimum of 7 years of experience leading teams of developers in diverse environments. Hands-on technical expertise is required, along with a solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and cloud technologies. Experience in developing and maintaining large-scale data solutions is crucial, as well as familiarity with AI model development and integration. Strong presentation and facilitation skills are necessary, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational boundaries.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, information systems, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a similar field is acceptable if accompanied by significant relevant experience. The emphasis is on advanced knowledge and skills in data architecture, analytics, and technology solutions.

Experience:
