The Associate Platform Engineer position at the World Bank Group is a critical role within the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidency. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate Platform Engineer will have a diverse set of responsibilities that include:
  • End-to-End Development: Architecting and building complex solutions using the full Power Platform stack and Azure-based custom integrations.
  • Citizen Development Enablement: Providing hands-on guidance, mentorship, and technical guardrails for citizen developers to foster a culture of innovation.
  • Integration & Customization: Developing custom connectors and integrating with C#/.NET, REST APIs, and legacy enterprise systems to enhance functionality.
  • ALM & DevOps: Owning the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process, including Git source control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning to ensure efficient development practices.
  • Governance & security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security: Enforcing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, security best practices, and ensuring tenant-wide compliance in collaboration with security teams.
