Job Overview:
The Senior Digital Specialist - Data Architect will play a pivotal role in advising and supporting countries in designing and implementing AI-ready data sharing infrastructure and service delivery platforms. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Digital Specialist - Data Architect will be responsible for a range of duties including advising on the design of modular and scalable AI-ready data architectures, overseeing the development of MLOps infrastructure for AI lifecycle management, and ensuring interoperability with existing government systems. The specialist will also provide technical assistance to countries in designing national data sharing capabilities, recommend technical controls for privacy and cybersecurity, and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders. Additionally, the specialist will identify high-impact AI use cases to improve service delivery, support pilot projects, and document results and lessons learned. The role requires leading efforts to integrate digital government initiatives into broader development programs and ensuring that solutions cater to all citizens.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture or related roles is required, along with proven experience in designing large-scale data infrastructure for AI or analytics applications. Technical skills in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and database technologies are essential, as well as proficiency in designing APIs and data integration frameworks. Understanding of data security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security practices and experience with government data systems or public sector projects is highly desirable. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with diverse partners.
