Job Overview: The Market and Business Intelligence Specialist position at ICAO is a pivotal role within the Revenue and Product Management Section (RPM) at ICAO Headquarters in Montreal. This position is designed to support the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau by leveraging data-driven strategies to enhance ICAO's revenue-generating initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Market and Business Intelligence Specialist include:
Conducting market intelligence and opportunity assessments to identify trends, emerging needs, and competitive landscapes for ICAO products. This involves performing analyses to estimate the size of serviceable obtainable markets and evaluating potential growth areas and strategic risks.
Developing comprehensive business cases to assess the feasibility and impact of new initiatives, analyzing internal and external data to model financial outcomes, and presenting findings to senior management.
Conducting pricing analysis and financial modeling to evaluate pricing strategies, historical trends, and customer segmentation impacts, while preparing financial models to simulate pricing scenarios.
Providing project management support for new product implementations, ensuring alignment between analytical outputs and strategic goals, and participating in change initiatives.
Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Market and Business Intelligence Specialist position include:
A first-level university degree in business administration or a related field of study, with a second-level degree or MBA being desirable.
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in market research, business analytics, or strategic planning, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.
Proficiency in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and competitive intelligence, along with strong command of analytical tools and software.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders being essential.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a first-level university degree in business administration or a related field. A second-level university degree or an MBA is considered an asset, indicating a preference for candidates with advanced education in relevant disciplines.
Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in areas such as market research, business analytics, or strategic planning. Additional Notes: This consultancy position is initially for a period of twelve months, with the possibility of extension. It is a full-time role, and the monthly salary for Band B ranges from CAD 5,097 to CAD 8,12
