Job Overview:
The position of International Electoral Advisor within the UNV Program (Logistics and Operations) is crucial for the planning and management of the electoral logistics for the upcoming elections in 2024-202
  • The advisor will work closely with the National Electoral Authority (ANE) to ensure that the elections are organized transparently, credibly, and inclusively, with a strong emphasis on the participation of women, youth, and vulnerable groups. The role involves advising on the development of deployment plans and the collection of electoral materials at the prefectural level, contributing to the establishment of monitoring and management structures for deployed electoral materials, and ensuring that logistical decisions are implemented effectively and within deadlines. The advisor will also participate in drafting various reports for the mission support division and maintain liaison between electoral authorities and the MINUSCA logistics support section. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the International Electoral Advisor include:
  • Providing logistical planning and management support for the 2024-2025 electoral operations at the local level, under the responsibility of the National Electoral Authority (ANE).
  • Assisting the ANE in developing deployment plans and collecting electoral materials at the prefectural level.
  • Contributing to the establishment of structures and tools for monitoring and managing deployed electoral materials.
  • Advising and proactively participating in the implementation of decisions related to electoral logistics while ensuring tasks are completed within set deadlines.
  • Participating in the drafting of various reports for the mission support division.
  • Ensuring effective communication and liaison between electoral authorities and the MINUSCA logistics support section.
  • Assisting in planning the deployment of materials to prefectures and managing warehouses.
  • Performing any other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
