Job Overview: The position of Generator Mechanic involves working under the direct supervision of the Electromechanical unit within the Engineering and Facility Maintenance Section. Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply engineering calculations and standard practices for sizing diesel engine generators and their installation.
Oversee commissioning, overhauling, and maintenance of generating sets and related equipment.
Ensure smooth operation of all generators in accordance with UN rules and guidelines.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various models of diesel engine power generators using diagnostic tools.
Install and synchronize new or used generators with existing systems, including solar hybrid systems.
