Job Overview:
The Chauffeur position is crucial for providing reliable and safe transportation services for the Resident Representative (RR) of the UNDP. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Chauffeur's primary duties include:
  • Driving the Resident Representative to and from work and during official duties, including transporting staff and visitors as needed.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle, performing minor repairs, and reporting any significant issues to the supervisor.
  • Keeping the vehicle's insurance updated and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met in case of an accident.
  • Maintaining a detailed logbook of vehicle usage and expenses.
  • Distributing mail when necessary and performing any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor. The Chauffeur plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by providing safe and efficient transportation services.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid category B driver's license with at least three years of driving experience. They should have a good understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform minor repairs. A professional appearance and good interpersonal skills are essential, as the Chauffeur will interact with various stakeholders. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations is also required, along with a commitment to upholding the values of the UNDP.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is primary education (CM2/CEPEE or equivalent literacy level). Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license and demonstrate proficiency in driving.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in a driving role, preferably in an international organization or non-governmental organization (NGO).
