Job Overview:
The position of Asociado/a de Programas - Resiliencia at WFP involves supporting the planning, implementation, and monitoring of program activities aligned with WFP's policies and strategies. The role requires managing and overseeing the operational execution of resilience projects, ensuring that objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. The incumbent will coordinate with partners and stakeholders to formalize agreements and monitor project outcomes. This position also entails providing technical support in areas related to livelihoods, climate adaptation, and market access, while maintaining close coordination with various units within the country office to ensure integrated and efficient execution of activities. The role is critical in generating reliable information for decision-making and contributing to the overall effectiveness of WFP's humanitarian assistance efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Asociado/a de Programas - Resiliencia include:

• Supporting the planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of program activities in alignment with WFP policies and strategies.
• Managing and monitoring the operational execution of resilience projects, ensuring compliance with objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinating the formalization, implementation, and monitoring of agreements with cooperating partners, including reviewing technical and budget proposals, preparing contractual documentation, and monitoring results.
• Providing technical support in managing interventions related to livelihoods, climate adaptation, productive strengthening, market access, and cash-based programs.
• Maintaining close coordination with various units within the Country Office to ensure integrated and efficient execution of activities.
• Preparing reports, technical analyses, and information products related to project performance, resource utilization, activity progress, and results achieved.
• Ensuring proper collection, consolidation, and validation of operational and programmatic information, ensuring the quality and consistency of reported data.
• Conducting periodic field visits to monitor the implementation of interventions, identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and formulate recommendations to enhance project outcomes.
• Supporting coordination and collaboration with government institutions, cooperation agencies, UN agencies, civil society organizations, and other relevant actors to strengthen the implementation and sustainability of interventions. 1
• Contributing to the development and strengthening of capacities of partners, government counterparts, and participating communities in technical areas related to resilience and food security. 1
• Participating in processes of analysis, design, and continuous improvement of tools, methodologies, and implementation mechanisms to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness. 1
• Supporting the generation of inputs for programmatic proposals, donor reports, resource mobilization exercises, and institutional visibility products. 1
• Contributing to emergency preparedness and response activities as required, promoting the integration of resilience and early recovery approaches. 1
• Serving as a focal point for operational inquiries related to activities under their responsibility and providing technical guidance to support staff as appropriate. 1
• Performing any other tasks required by supervision to support the achievement of the objectives of the Program Unit.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the position include a strong understanding of program management principles, particularly in the context of humanitarian assistance and resilience-building. Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations. Educational Background:
Candidates for the Asociado/a de Programas - Resiliencia position should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in fields such as international development, social sciences, agriculture, environmental science, or a related discipline. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred and may enhance the candidate's competitiveness for the role. Educational qualifications should be complemented by relevant training or certifications in project management, monitoring and evaluation, or related areas.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in program management, particularly in the areas of resilience, food security, or humanitarian assistance. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully managing projects, including planning, implementation, and monitoring. Experience working with international organizations, government agencies, or NGOs in a similar capacity will be highly regarded. Familiarity with the specific challenges and opportunities in the Bolivian context, particularly related to climate change and food security, is also beneficial.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as the role involves significant communication and coordination with local partners and stakeholders. Proficiency in English is highly desirable, as it will facilitate collaboration with international teams and access to global resources. Knowledge of indigenous languages or other local dialects may be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage with diverse communities.
