Job Overview: The position of Auxiliar Administrativo y Financiero is crucial for providing administrative, financial, and logistical support to the UNODC projects and activities in Bolivia. The role is designed to ensure the optimal organization of budgetary, administrative, and financial information related to the projects, thereby facilitating the effective execution of resources. The Auxiliar will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing documentation, and supporting the operational efficiency of the office. This includes tasks such as budget tracking, document management, travel logistics, and compliance with institutional procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: The Auxiliar Administrativo y Financiero will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Providing administrative and financial support for project execution, including tracking the organization of files and documents related to budget execution, disbursements, payments, and financial obligations.
Managing the office's filing system and maintaining accurate records and reports, such as attendance logs, invoices, and supply inventories.
Assisting in the logistical coordination of meetings, workshops, travel, and events, ensuring all arrangements are made efficiently.
Supporting the management of office supplies and inventory, including assisting in procurement activities when necessary.
Managing travel logistics for staff, including making reservations and obtaining necessary security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security clearances.
Contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the office by ensuring timely and accurate management of administrative processes and documentation.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a secondary education diploma (or equivalent) with at least three years of relevant experience, or a university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Business Administration, Auditing, Commercial Engineering, or related fields with no prior experience required. Relevant experience in administrative and financial support, including budget organization, financial reconciliations, payment management, and record-keeping is essential. Experience in international organizations, cooperation agencies, or public and private institutions is desirable. Proficiency in collaboration and productivity tools such as MS Office and G-Suite is valued.
Educational Background: The educational requirements for this position include either a secondary education diploma with three years of relevant experience or a university degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Auditing, or Commercial Engineering.
