Duties and Responsibilities: The Trainee will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
Supporting logistical and asset management by ensuring proper maintenance, handling, and secure storage of office equipment and supplies.
Preparing and maintaining accurate inventory lists and comprehensive records of assets for both office and project needs.
Monitoring and tracking the movement of equipment and implementing a management system for all assets in accordance with UNOPS policies.
Processing supply requests for the office in a timely manner and supporting customs clearance procedures efficiently.
Managing the reception of goods and equipment, including inspection and reporting.
Ensuring the maintenance, review, and repair of all office vehicles to guarantee safe operational conditions.
Coordinating transportation needs for staff, including necessary security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security arrangements.
Maintaining daily vehicle records, including fuel consumption and mileage.
Evaluating contracted services to improve service levels and identify potential enhancements. 1

Required Qualifications: Candidates must be pursuing or have recently graduated (within the last three years) in Administration, International Relations, or related fields. It is desirable for candidates to be in their 8th semester or higher in their studies. Experience in administration, logistics, or operations, particularly in humanitarian or development contexts, is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Educational Background: The educational requirement for this position includes being enrolled in or having completed a degree in Administration, International Relations, or a related field. Candidates who are currently in their 8th semester or higher are preferred. The organization is open to accepting candidates who have graduated within the last three years, ensuring that recent graduates have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a practical setting.
Experience: While prior experience is not mandatory, it is desirable for candidates to have some background in administration, logistics, or operations.
