Job Overview:
The Information Management Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the NRC Country Office in Ukraine by overseeing the development, maintenance, and harmonization of information management systems. This position is part of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Department and is essential for ensuring that NRC's programming is impactful and evidence-based. The coordinator will be responsible for enhancing the quality, consistency, and efficiency of information management systems across all core competencies and area offices. This role requires a proactive approach to digital transformation and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, ensuring that data management practices align with NRC's policies and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Information Management Coordinator will have a wide range of responsibilities, including ensuring compliance with NRC policies and national legislation regarding data security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security and protection. They will oversee and coordinate the work of Area-based Information Management Technical Officers and Database Officers, ensuring that data management practices are effective and efficient. The coordinator will develop and maintain a reliable IM system, manage resources for system development, and implement NRC Ukraine IM guidelines. They will also contribute to donor reports, assessments, and strategy documents, ensuring that IM systems are up-to-date with the latest data on indicators and activities. Specific tasks include working with stakeholders to identify information needs, coordinating the development of data management systems, and ensuring data integrity through rigorous validation processes. The coordinator will also be responsible for training teams in data collection and analysis, ensuring that data is clean, reliable, and accurate.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in statistics, computer science, computer engineering, information systems/technology, or a related discipline, or have two years of equivalent work experience. Proven experience in information management and data management is essential, along with demonstrated skills in database design and development. Knowledge of advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Power Apps is required, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desired. Candidates should also have excellent written and spoken English and Ukrainian language skills, as well as experience working in a humanitarian or recovery context. Strong analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role.

Educational Background:
A degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems/technology is required. Alternatively, candidates may qualify with two years of equivalent work experience in a related area. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding complex data management systems and the technical skills required for the position.

Experience:
Candidates should have proven experience in information management and data management, with a strong background in database design and development. Experience in team management and agile project management is highly desired, as the role involves coordinating with various stakeholders and leading data management initiatives. Additionally, experience working in a humanitarian or recovery context is essential to understand the unique challenges faced in these environments.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Ukrainian is mandatory for this position, as effective communication is crucial for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly if it enhances the ability to engage with diverse communities and partners.
