Job Overview:
The IT Business Analyst - AI Transformation plays a crucial role within the Information Systems and Technology Directorate (IS) at INTERPOL. This position serves as a bridge between business needs and IT solutions, focusing on evaluating business requirements, identifying opportunities for evolution, and managing project roadmaps. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders, including business counterparts, project managers, and IT product managers, to ensure that IT solutions align with organizational goals. The role involves assessing initial project proposals, gathering requirements, and ensuring that the solutions developed meet the needs of the business while also adhering to technical specifications. The IT Business Analyst will also be involved in the product launch process, assisting with training and feedback collection to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Projects Initial Assessment: Collaborate with relevant units to participate in the initiation phase of projects, helping to draft concept notes and project proposals while analyzing project opportunities and minimizing overlaps with existing products.
  • Projects Requirements Gathering: Collect business needs and change requests, develop comprehensive end-to-end use cases, and coordinate with solutions architects for technical specifications.
  • Call for Tender: Screen the market for off-the-shelf solutions, interface with project managers for tender processes, and participate in evaluating bids.
  • IT Project Management Follow-up: Be embedded in project teams, prioritize features/user stories, and adjust specifications as needed.
  • Assist the Business During Product Launch: Prepare test cases, assist during testing phases, and contribute to change management strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Represent business interests, propose improvements to processes, and participate in incident resolution.
  • Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks as required by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of three to four years of education at a university or specialized higher education institution. An ITIL certification is also required. Additionally, candidates should have a strong understanding of AI and automation technologies, data analysis, and business intelligence tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes three to four years of higher education at a university or specialized institution. An ITIL certification is also necessary to ensure that candidates have the requisite knowledge in IT service management.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience in the field. If the candidate does not possess the required educational qualifications, a total of ten years of experience in the relevant area is necessary to qualify for the position.

Languages:
A working knowledge of English is mandatory, with fluency in English being highly desirable. Proficiency in a second official language of the organization, such as Arabic, French, or Spanish, would be considered an additional asset.
