Job Overview: The LANDCOM Internship Programme offers a unique opportunity for interns to gain hands-on experience in an international military organization. Interns will work closely with the Director of Management and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Transformation & Integration, assisting in various tasks related to project management, infrastructure development, and coordination of working group meetings. The internship is structured to last for six months, during which interns will be expected to engage in activities that support the operational needs of LANDCOM. This includes managing timelines, coordinating products, and ensuring effective communication among different departments. Interns will also have the chance to familiarize themselves with project management principles and complete initial certification training, thereby enhancing their professional skill set.
Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: coordinating and synchronizing activities with various departments such as ACOS G3, DCOS Ops, DOM SWM, and DCOS T&I Office; managing tasker tracker enterprise requirements; assisting in the writing and proofing of staff products; supporting divisional events hosted in Izmir; coordinating meetings and travel arrangements for team members; familiarizing themselves with project management principles; supporting infrastructure development projects; assisting with the management of HQ expansion projects; supporting the Specific Environments Panel Chair with work related to bi-annual meetings; and assisting in the development of an unclassified website linked to the LANDCOM public-facing website.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for the internship, candidates must meet several eligibility criteria: they must be citizens of a NATO member nation, possess a certificate from their university stating that the internship is necessary for their professional development, and demonstrate proficiency in English. Additionally, candidates should have completed at least two years of successful university study or equivalent. The program is open to current students or recent graduates who have obtained their degree within the last 18 months. Essential qualifications include a university degree focused on business or management, and higher secondary education with an emphasis on office management and product development. Proficiency in English at Level SLP 3333 or higher is critical, as all work is conducted in English.

Additional Notes: The internship program is structured as a six-month commitment, and interns will receive a monthly stipend of 52,026.30 TRY to cover their living expenses, travel, and subsistence. Selected interns are responsible for their accommodation and work permit arrangements. Travel tickets to and from Türkiye will be reimbursed up to a total amount of 1200 EUR. Interns are required to have social insurance coverage, including health care, which must be documented during the in-processing. Additionally, interns must take care of formalities with Turkish authorities regarding their stay in Türkiye.
