Job Overview:
The LANDCOM Internship Programme (LIP) is designed to provide current students and recent graduates with the opportunity to intern at LANDCOM. The internship spans six months and is available to candidates from various academic backgrounds, including political science, international relations, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security studies, law, economics, engineering, logistics, human resources, financial administration, accounting/auditing, information technology, language services, journalism, and media communications. Interns will be involved in various projects that align with their academic pursuits and professional development, thereby contributing to their future career paths in international relations and organizational management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that include assisting in the preparation, coordination, and execution of civilian personnel procedures. They will support HR administrative operations, which involve tasks such as filing, updating records, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to complete civilian personnel files. Additionally, interns will aid in the civilian recruitment processes, which are crucial for filling various personnel roles within LANDCOM. They will also be responsible for creating and distributing necessary documents related to HR functions. This role requires a proactive approach to learning and contributing to the HR management processes within the organization.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for the internship, applicants must be citizens of a NATO member nation and possess a certificate from their university indicating that the internship is a necessary component of their academic program. Proficiency in English is mandatory, as all communication and documentation will be conducted in this language. Furthermore, candidates should have completed at least two years of university study or possess equivalent qualifications. The program is open to current bachelor's students or recent graduates who have obtained their degree within the last 18 months, ensuring that candidates are well-prepared for the challenges of the internship.

Educational Background:
Applicants are expected to have obtained a first degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field. This educational background should be complemented by demonstrated interest or experience in human resources, personnel management, and administrative functions. Additional skills in document editing and writing, as well as proficiency in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), are also required to effectively perform the duties associated with the internship.

Experience:
Candidates should ideally have some experience or exposure to human resources or administrative roles, which can be gained through previous internships, part-time jobs, or relevant academic projects. This experience will help them navigate the responsibilities of the internship more effectively and contribute meaningfully to the HR functions at LANDCOM.

Languages:

Additional Notes:
The internship is structured as a six-month program, which can be part of or complementary to a university degree program. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of 52,026.50 TRY to cover their living expenses, travel, and subsistence. However, selected interns are responsible for their accommodation and work permit arrangements. Travel expenses to and from Türkiye will be reimbursed up to a total of 1200 EUR. Interns must also have social insurance coverage, including health care, which needs to be documented during the onboarding process.
