Job Overview: The Online Volunteer position at UN Women involves creating and managing an online dashboard that will be utilized by UN Women personnel across multiple offices in the Arab States region. Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteer will have several key responsibilities, including:
Creating an online dashboard that is accessible to UN Women personnel in various offices across the Arab States region.
Populating the dashboard with current country-level data that tracks the progress of UN Country Teams in implementing UNSW-GEAP deliverables.
Ensuring that the data reflects detailed implementation of the UNCT-SWAP Gender Equality Standards (GES).
Recommending and executing options for effective data visualization and analysis to support UN Women teams in presenting updates and trends.
Making recommendations on efficient data capture, reporting, and visualization methods to enhance UN Women’s coordination portfolio in the Arab States.
Training UN Women personnel on how to effectively use the dashboard, including how to update data and create tables.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Online Volunteer position should possess a strong understanding of data management and visualization techniques. Familiarity with online dashboard tools and data analysis software is essential.
