Job Overview:
The position of Alternant·e at the Service Jeunesse involves supporting the development and implementation of projects in the Île-de-France region. The candidate will be responsible for mobilizing schools to participate in the Course contre la Faim initiative, which includes presenting the project to new schools and fostering their engagement. The role also entails maintaining relationships with already engaged schools, ensuring regular communication, and providing them with appropriate tools to enhance their involvement. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate awareness-raising actions, plan sessions, manage logistics, and liaise with volunteers and schools. The role requires representation of the organization during certain interventions to ensure the smooth execution of activities. The candidate will also contribute to the overall logistics of the project in Île-de-France, including organizing a race that brings together multiple schools, providing support before the event, and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day of the event. Post-event, the candidate will follow up on fundraising efforts, verify donations, and assist in promoting the results to the schools involved.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the mobilization of schools in Île-de-France for the Course contre la Faim initiative by prospecting new schools and presenting the project to encourage their participation.
  • Maintain relationships with already engaged schools through regular communication, recognition of their commitment, and provision of tailored tools.
  • Coordinate awareness-raising actions, including planning sessions, managing logistics, and ensuring effective communication with volunteers and schools.
  • Represent the organization during specific interventions to ensure the successful execution of activities.
  • Contribute to the overall logistics and coordination of the project in Île-de-France, including organizing a race involving multiple schools, providing support in advance, and ensuring smooth operations on the event day.
  • Follow up on fundraising efforts post-event, including receiving and verifying donations, conducting follow-ups as necessary, and assisting in promoting results to participating schools.
  • Support the development and implementation of projects within the Service Jeunesse in Île-de-France.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be enrolled in a higher education program, typically at the Bac +3/4 level, in fields such as business, entrepreneurship, communication, or possess a generalist education. A prior experience in project management or event organization is essential. The candidate should demonstrate strong commercial and interpersonal skills, with the ability to argue and persuade effectively. Organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial, along with the ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment. The candidate should enjoy engaging with diverse audiences and possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfort with numerical data and analytical capabilities is also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, and a strong motivation for humanitarian work and international solidarity is considered a significant asset.

Educational Background:
Candidates should have a higher education background, ideally pursuing a degree at the Bac +3/4 level in relevant fields such as business, entrepreneurship, or communication. A generalist educational background is also acceptable, provided it aligns with the responsibilities of the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have prior experience in project management or event organization, demonstrating their ability to handle responsibilities effectively and contribute to the success of initiatives within the organization.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, given the location and target audience. Proficiency in English or other languages would be advantageous but is not required.

Additional Notes:
This position is offered as an apprenticeship or professionalization contract for a duration of 12 months, based in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The desired work rhythm is three days a week, with two days off. Salary will be based on the legal minimum, adjusted according to age and educational level, spread over 13 months. Employees will receive 21 days of RTT (reduced working time), prorated based on presence, and 25 days of paid leave, also prorated. Health coverage and insurance will be 80% covered by Action contre la Faim. Transportation costs will be reimbursed at 50% for travel between home and work. Meal vouchers will be partially funded by the organization. The organization supports remote work, allowing employees to choose to work fully or partially from home, with a requirement of 16 days per month at the headquarters, including dedicated time for meetings and collective events (averaging three days per month). The first six weeks will require two days of mandatory presence per week for team integration. Frequent travel within the region is expected.
