Job Overview:
The position of Alternant·e at the Service Jeunesse involves supporting the development and implementation of youth projects in the Île-de-France region. The candidate will engage with schools to mobilize them around the 'Course contre la Faim' initiative, presenting the project and encouraging their participation. The role requires maintaining relationships with already engaged schools, ensuring regular communication, and providing them with appropriate tools to enhance their involvement. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate awareness-raising actions, plan sessions, manage logistics, and liaise with volunteers and schools. Participation in organizing a race that brings together multiple schools is also a key responsibility, which includes pre-event coordination and logistics as well as ensuring the event runs smoothly on the day. The candidate will also be responsible for following up on fundraising efforts, verifying donations, and supporting the communication of results to the schools involved.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the mobilization of schools in Île-de-France for the Course contre la Faim project.
  • Prospect new schools and present the project to encourage their participation.
  • Maintain regular communication with engaged schools to foster loyalty and provide them with necessary tools.
  • Coordinate awareness-raising actions, including planning sessions and managing logistics.
  • Participate in the implementation of awareness interventions and represent the organization during these events.
  • Assist in organizing a race involving multiple schools, including pre-event coordination and logistics, and ensure the event runs smoothly on the day.
  • Follow up on fundraising collections post-event, verify donations, and support the communication of results to schools.
  • Support the development and implementation of youth projects in the Île-de-France region.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be enrolled in a higher education program, preferably at the Bac +3/4 level, in fields such as business, entrepreneurship, or communication, or possess a generalist training background. A first experience in project management or event organization is required. Strong commercial and relational skills are essential, along with the ability to argue and convince stakeholders. The candidate should be organized, rigorous, and capable of managing priorities while enjoying teamwork. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary, as well as comfort with numerical data and analytical abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a strong motivation for humanitarian work and international solidarity is a significant asset.

Educational Background:
Candidates should have a higher education background, ideally at the Bac +3/4 level, in areas such as business, entrepreneurship, communication, or a generalist field. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the complexities of project management and event organization within the humanitarian sector.

Experience:
A first experience in project management or event organization is required. This experience will help the candidate navigate the responsibilities of the role effectively and contribute to the success of the initiatives undertaken by the Service Jeunesse.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as the role involves communication with schools and stakeholders in the Île-de-France region. Proficiency in English or other languages may be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage with a broader audience and support international collaboration.

Additional Notes:
The position is offered as an apprenticeship or professionalization contract for a duration of 12 months. The work location is in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), with a desired work rhythm of 3 days in the office and 2 days potentially working remotely. Salary is based on the legal minimum, adjusted according to age and educational level, spread over 13 months. Employees are entitled to 21 days of RTT (reduced working time) and 25 days of paid leave, prorated based on presence. Health coverage is provided at 80% by Action contre la Faim, and transportation costs are reimbursed at 50% between home and work. Meal vouchers are partially covered by the organization, and employees receive additional social benefits. The organization supports remote work, allowing for full or partial telecommuting, with a requirement of 16 days per month at the headquarters, including dedicated time for meetings and collective events. The first six weeks will require two days of in-person attendance per week for team integration. Frequent travel within the region is expected.
