Job Overview:
The Mission MEAL Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) strategy of the mission under the supervision of the coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">MEAL Coordinator. The role is vital in strengthening the implementation of feedback and complaint response mechanisms, enhancing reporting processes, and improving digital beneficiary registration and targeting. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Mission MEAL Manager is responsible for a comprehensive set of duties, including:
  • Supporting the MEAL Coordinator in implementing the MEAL strategy across the mission.
  • Centralizing and harmonizing MEAL tools and processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Providing methodological support to program teams on technical questions related to MEAL, including the design of monitoring and evaluation plans, data collection methods, and indicator measurement.
  • Overseeing the quality and relevance of internal monitoring and evaluation activities, including studies and analyses produced by the MEAL department.
  • Conducting training sessions for program teams to enhance their understanding and application of MEAL practices.
  • Contributing to the development of institutional knowledge and the improvement of MEAL methods and techniques.
  • Leading all aspects of MEAL for various projects, including those supported by consortium partners.
  • Addressing challenges related to security and operational constraints in the field, particularly in regions affected by conflict.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field. A first experience in an information management position is required, along with at least three years of experience in the humanitarian sector. Experience in a similar position is also necessary, with a minimum of two years in a relevant role. Familiarity with Solidarités International's operations is highly desirable, as it indicates an understanding of the organization's mission and values.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, which provides the necessary theoretical foundation and practical skills for effective performance in the role. The salary for this position starts from EUR 2310 gross per month, which includes a base salary and an annual leave allowance. Additionally, a monthly per diem of USD 750 is provided, along with coverage for accommodation costs and travel expenses. The organization implements a system of alternating work and time off, allowing for breaks every three months, with an additional rest day granted for each month worked.
