Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Research Analyst-WASH include but are not limited to: conducting comprehensive research on WASH-related topics, analyzing data to identify trends and challenges, preparing detailed reports and presentations based on research findings, collaborating with stakeholders to gather information and insights, evaluating the effectiveness of existing WASH programs and initiatives, providing recommendations for improvements based on research outcomes, participating in meetings and workshops to discuss WASH issues and strategies, and contributing to the development of new WASH projects and proposals. The Research Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in the WASH sector and ensuring that all research activities align with UNDP's goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency in research methodologies and statistical analysis is essential. Additionally, candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling them to effectively convey research findings to diverse audiences. Familiarity with the WASH sector and relevant policies is highly desirable. Additional Notes: This position is offered as an individual contractor role, with a contract duration of 240 days spread over 12 months.
