Job Overview:
The Research Analyst-Education position is designed to support the UNDP's initiatives in the education sector within Pakistan. The Research Analyst will be expected to gather and synthesize data from various sources, including government reports, academic studies, and field surveys. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including government officials, NGOs, and international partners. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Research Analyst-Education include:
  • Conducting thorough research on educational policies and practices in Pakistan, including quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Collaborating with educational institutions, government agencies, and NGOs to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presentations that summarize research findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to discuss research outcomes and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of educational programs and initiatives.
  • Contributing to the development of strategic plans and proposals for educational interventions.
  • Staying updated on global trends and best practices in education to inform local strategies.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct research and synthesize complex information. Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. A strong understanding of the education sector in Pakistan, including current challenges and opportunities, is crucial. Candidates should also have experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Educational Background:
A Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field is required for this position. Experience:
