Job Overview:
The Senior Facilities Officer plays a crucial role within the Corporate Services & Facilities Department (CSF) at the IMF, specifically in the Facilities Management Division (DF). This position involves coordinating management and oversight responsibilities for various facilities-related work activities, including projects, programs, and initiatives. The Senior Facilities Officer is expected to proactively ensure that quality and standards are maintained throughout the planning and execution of work activities. This includes ensuring risk mitigation, operational excellence, and business continuity in delivering a wide range of services. The candidate will work closely with staff, contractual, and vendor employees to ensure optimum customer service and adherence to IMF Building Standards, aligning with the Fund's business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Facilities Officer will manage the Facilities Division's compliance program, which includes overseeing vendor service level agreements, contract deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires managing and coordinating facility asset lifecycle replacement planning and updates related to the Facilities Condition Index (FCI), providing inputs for the Division's short and long-term capital budget development. The officer will coordinate the implementation and monitoring of compliance requirements for safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective project delivery. Additionally, the officer will direct multiple design, construction, and renovation projects, ensuring that schedules, budgets, and commitments are met, with decisions based on sound data analysis. The role also involves overseeing the development and management of customer service programs related to facilities operations, ensuring effective oversight of vendor-managed customer service programs, including the Facilities Helpdesk, Parking, and Property Management, to deliver timely and high-quality support to stakeholders. The officer will also review and enhance procedures to improve client experience and service delivery.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess educational development typically acquired through the completion of a relevant advanced university degree or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of four years of professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities, Hospitality, Design and Construction, or a related field. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in the same fields, is required. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience in a related position at Grade A10 or equivalent is also acceptable. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Key Performance Indicators, Facility Management, and Vendor Management.

Educational Background:
The position requires an advanced university degree in a relevant field, such as Real Estate, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Design and Construction, or a related discipline. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in these areas, combined with extensive professional experience, may also be considered. The educational background should provide a solid foundation for understanding the complexities of facilities management and operations.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of four years of professional experience in relevant fields such as Real Estate, Facilities, Hospitality, or Design and Construction. For those with a bachelor's degree, a minimum of ten years of relevant experience is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of experience in a related position at Grade A10 or equivalent, demonstrating a strong background in facilities management and oversight.
