Job Overview: The Technical Assistant position within the Security and Safety Service (SSS) is crucial for ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of security system devices. The role involves providing technical support to the security system team, particularly in maintaining and operating the Security Information System. The incumbent will be responsible for following a structured maintenance plan for various security devices, assisting in installation and maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with the security system technician to address any issues that arise. The Technical Assistant will also be involved in the installation of electrical components and the maintenance of various mechanical systems, contributing to the overall safety and security of the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Technical Assistant include:
Following a daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plan for security system devices, including bollards, traffic lights, and arm barriers, and reporting any equipment problems to the security system technician.
Responsible for installation work related to cable trays, electrical power cables, electrical wire board connections, and duct work.
Monitoring the installation of firefighting pipes and reporting progress to the site supervisor.
Maintaining central, ceiling, and split air conditioners, as well as sanitary fixtures, boilers, and kitchen equipment.
Assisting the security system technician in maintaining mechanical parts of security devices, such as bollards and arm barriers.
Assisting in the installation of power and data cables for bollards as needed.
Conducting functionality tests for bollards, traffic lights, and arm barriers under the supervision of the security system technician.
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Technical Assistant position include a high school diploma or equivalent, with training in electronics and mechanics being an advantage. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of relevant working experience, demonstrating their capability to handle technical tasks related to security systems and maintenance.

Experience: The position requires at least two years of working experience in a relevant field.
