Job Overview:
The organization is seeking two apprentices to strengthen the support team of the France Mission, focusing on two distinct themes: housing and food for displaced populations, particularly women and children, which requires a good understanding of associated institutions and public policies; and sustainable food, food democracy, and supply chains, with a focus on the economic models of food solidarity. The main missions will include participating in monitoring the context and activities of partners, contributing to the implementation of support activities with partners, mobilizing and coordinating volunteers, and contributing to the monitoring of activities and team dynamics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and documentation related to the activities undertaken.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in political science, development, or social sciences, with a focus on project management and data analysis. They should demonstrate an interest in food democracy, social precariousness, and public policies. The ideal candidates will have the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and possess strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be enrolled in a Master's program (M1/M2) in political science, development studies, or social sciences. This educational background is essential to ensure that candidates have the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have some level of experience in project management or related fields, ideally through internships or volunteer work that demonstrates their ability to engage with community issues and support initiatives aimed at improving food security and social welfare.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as the role involves working with local populations and stakeholders. Proficiency in English or other languages would be considered an asset, enhancing communication with international partners and stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
This position is offered as an apprenticeship contract for a duration of 12 months, with a desired work rhythm of 3 days in the office and 2 days of study. The salary is based on the legal minimum wage, adjusted according to age and educational level, and is distributed over 13 months. Employees will receive 21 days of RTT (reduced working time) and 25 days of paid leave, prorated based on presence. Health coverage is provided at 80% by Action contre la Faim, and transportation costs are reimbursed at 50% between home and workplace. The organization also offers meal vouchers with a 60% subsidy, social benefits, and discounts on cinema tickets.
