Job Overview: The coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Finance Coordinator will be responsible for directing and coordinating all accounting and financial services associated with the mission in Myanmar. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial balance of the mission and compliance with Solidarités International procedures, donor requirements, and local laws. The Finance Coordinator serves as the primary point of reference for financial management, accounting, and budget monitoring, acting as a liaison between the mission and headquarters. Duties and Responsibilities: The Finance Coordinator's responsibilities include overseeing all financial operations of the mission, ensuring compliance with both internal and external financial regulations, and managing the financial reporting process. The coordinator will lead the preparation of budgets for new proposals in alignment with SI's mission strategy and donor compliance. They will conduct monthly financial analyses and ensure that financial information is accessible to various audiences. The role also involves managing a team of finance staff, providing training and support, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in the humanitarian sector, specifically in financial coordination or management roles. Additional Notes: This position is a short-term contract with a duration of 11 months, which is renewable based on performance and funding availability. The role is based in Yangon, with potential visits to field offices in Mandalay and Sittwe. The salary starts from EUR 2860 gross per month, which includes a base salary and an annual leave allowance. Additionally, a monthly Per Diem of USD 600 is provided, along with accommodation costs and travel expenses covered by SI. The organization implements a work-break system, allowing for breaks every three months, with an additional rest day granted for each month worked. Expatriates are provided with a comprehensive insurance package covering healthcare expenses, including medical, surgical, dental, and repatriation costs. Living conditions in Yangon are reported to be very good, with access to all necessary amenities.
