Job Overview: The position of Voluntario/a en Línea is crucial for supporting the communication team of the UNIDAS II project in Venezuela. The volunteer will be responsible for designing and laying out educational and communicative materials that effectively present the work of UN Women in Venezuela, particularly focusing on the Economy of Care. This role is essential for enhancing the visibility of women's leadership and promoting the importance of unpaid care work predominantly performed by women. The volunteer's contributions will help ensure that the materials produced meet institutional standards and serve as effective tools for raising awareness and disseminating key messages related to gender equality and women's empowerment. The volunteer will work closely with the communication team to ensure that the materials are accessible, clear, and visually appealing, reaching diverse audiences and strengthening institutional communication.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Voluntario/a en Línea will undertake several key tasks, including:
Designing and laying out an institutional brochure (foldable type) that summarizes the work of UN Women in Venezuela.
Designing and laying out two foldable brochures related to the Economy of Care, incorporating graphic elements and illustrations that enhance the understanding of the content.
Collaborating with the UN Women team to gather necessary information, data, texts, and references for the development of the materials.
Ensuring that all produced materials adhere to the organization's branding and communication standards.
Contributing to the overall communication strategy of the UNIDAS II project by providing creative input and suggestions for improving the effectiveness of communication materials.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Voluntario/a en Línea position should possess a strong background in graphic design, communication, or a related field. They should have experience in designing educational materials, brochures, and other visual communication tools. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is essential.
