Job Overview: In this role, under the supervision of the Field Coordinator for the France Mission, you will contribute to defining and implementing the support strategy for operational partners in the Marseille area. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the strategy and activities for supporting partners in the Marseille-PACA base, ensuring the deployment and monitoring of these activities, and supporting the capitalization and reporting of field information for communication and advocacy purposes. Additionally, you will manage and supervise your team, which includes mentoring one intern, and actively participate in the life of the base and the mission.
Duties and Responsibilities: Your primary duties will encompass defining the strategy and activities for partner support in the Marseille-PACA region, deploying and monitoring these activities, and facilitating the collection and reporting of field data for various purposes. You will also be responsible for managing your team, which includes overseeing an intern, and contributing to the overall mission and base activities. This includes engaging in public speaking and external representation, managing project data collection, storage, analysis, and graphical representation, and fostering relationships with various stakeholders to mobilize networks and build trust. You will also be expected to lead workshops and meetings, employing collective intelligence methods and popular education practices in France.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in political science, local and territorial development, project coordination, social sciences, social design, economics, or statistics. A minimum of four years of project management experience in areas such as social action, food security, and poverty alleviation is required, along with experience in multi-actor coordination involving local authorities, state services, and associations. Demonstrated public speaking and external representation skills are essential, as well as project management capabilities, data collection, analysis, and visualization skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate collective intelligence and multi-actor discussions are also necessary.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in relevant fields such as political science, local and territorial development, project coordination, social sciences, social design, economics, or statistics is required for this position.
Experience: Candidates should have at least four years of experience in project management, particularly in social action, food security, and poverty alleviation, as well as experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders including local authorities and state services.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English or other languages would be considered an asset.
Additional Notes: This position is classified as a full-time, permanent contract (CDI) with a salary range of €37,000 to €44,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 25 days of annual leave, 21 days of RTT, health coverage with 80% paid by ACF, salary maintenance during illness, maternity, and paternity leave, transportation allowances covering 50% of the commuting costs, and meal vouchers with 60% coverage by the organization. There is also the possibility of remote work for part of the responsibilities, and travel within the PACA region may be required, along with potential representation and coordination trips outside the region.
