Job Overview:
In this role, under the supervision of the Field Coordinator for the France Mission, you will contribute to defining and implementing the support strategy for operational partners of the France Mission in Marseille. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the strategy and activities for supporting partners in the Marseille-PACA region, ensuring the deployment and monitoring of these activities, supporting the capitalization and reporting of field information for communication and advocacy purposes, managing and supervising your team, and participating in the life of the base and mission, including managing one intern. This position requires a proactive approach to project management and the ability to engage with various stakeholders effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the definition of the strategy and activities for supporting partners in the Marseille-PACA base.
  • Ensure the deployment and monitoring of support activities for partners in the Marseille-PACA base.
  • Support the capitalization and reporting of field information for communication and advocacy purposes.
  • Manage and supervise your team, including one intern, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Participate actively in the life of the base and the mission, contributing to team dynamics and organizational culture.
  • Engage with local stakeholders, including local authorities, state services, and associations, to foster collaboration and support for the mission's objectives.
  • Conduct public speaking engagements and represent the organization externally to promote its mission and activities.
  • Collect, store, analyze, and graphically present data to inform project strategies and interventions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings using collective intelligence methods and practices, ensuring inclusive participation from diverse profiles. 1
  • Mobilize networks of actors and build trust-based relationships to enhance collaboration and support for the mission's goals.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in political science, local and territorial development, project coordination, social sciences, social design, economics, or statistics. Additionally, candidates should possess at least four years of project management experience in areas such as social action, food security, and poverty alleviation, monitoring and evaluation, protection and access to rights, and multi-actor coordination with local authorities, decentralized state services, and associations. Proven public speaking and external representation skills are essential, along with strong project management capabilities and experience in data collection, storage, analysis, and graphical presentation.

Educational Background:
A Master's degree in relevant fields such as political science, local and territorial development, project coordination, social sciences, social design, economics, or statistics is required for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of project management and the socio-economic factors affecting food security and social action.

Experience:
A minimum of four years of experience in project management is required, specifically in areas related to social action, food security, and poverty alleviation. Experience in multi-actor coordination with local authorities and other stakeholders is also essential. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in public speaking and external representation, showcasing their ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission and engage with various audiences.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, given the local context and the need for effective communication with partners and stakeholders. Proficiency in English is also desirable, as it may facilitate communication with international teams and partners.

  • The salary ranges from €37,000 to €44,000 gross annually, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as 25 days of annual leave and 21 RTT days. Health coverage is provided, with 80% of costs covered by Action contre la Faim. Additional benefits include transport allowances covering 50% of commuting costs, meal vouchers with 60% coverage by the organization, and social benefits from the CSE. There is also the possibility of remote work for part of the responsibilities, and field trips within the PACA region may be required, along with potential representation and coordination trips outside the PACA region.
