Job Overview: The position of Project Coordinator involves working under the supervision of the Field Coordinator for the France Mission. The primary responsibility is to contribute to the definition and implementation of the support strategy for operational partners in the Marseille region. This includes defining strategies and activities for partner support, deploying and monitoring these activities, and ensuring effective communication and reporting. The role also involves managing and supervising a team member and participating in the overall mission activities. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational capacity of partners and ensuring that the mission's objectives are met effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include:
Contributing to the definition of the strategy and activities for supporting partners in the Marseille-PACA region.
Ensuring the deployment and monitoring of partner support activities.
Supporting the capitalization and reporting of field information for communication and advocacy purposes.
Managing and supervising a team member, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Participating actively in the life of the base and the mission, contributing to team dynamics and mission objectives.
Engaging with various stakeholders, including local authorities and community organizations, to enhance collaboration and support for the mission's goals.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in political science, local and territorial development, project coordination, social sciences, social design, economics, or statistics. Additionally, candidates should have at least four years of project management experience in relevant fields such as social action, food security, monitoring and evaluation, and multi-stakeholder coordination. Proven public speaking and external representation skills are essential, along with strong project management capabilities, including data collection, analysis, and graphical representation. Candidates should also demonstrate relational skills and the ability to facilitate collective intelligence and training for diverse profiles.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in a relevant field such as political science, local development, project coordination, social sciences, social design, economics, or statistics is required for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of project management and the socio-economic factors affecting food security and social action.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of four years of experience in project management, particularly in areas related to social action, food security, and multi-stakeholder coordination. Experience in public speaking and external representation is also required, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively and engage with various stakeholders.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, given the location and the nature of the work. Proficiency in English or other languages would be considered an asset, enhancing communication with international partners and stakeholders.
Additional Notes: The position is classified as a cadre integrated role, with a fixed-term contract of 7 months and full-time hours. The job is based in Marseille, with a salary range of €37,000 to €44,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave, 21 RTT days, health coverage with 80% paid by ACF, salary maintenance provisions, transport allowances covering 50% of commuting costs, meal vouchers with 60% coverage by the organization, and social benefits through the CSE. There is also the possibility of remote work for part of the duties, and field trips may occur within the PACA region, as well as potential representation and coordination outside of PACA.
