Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Electronics Technical Engineer include:
  • Designing and developing analogue and digital electronics for production and repair test fixtures, including schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Ensuring the full lifecycle management of test equipment, maintaining high availability and complete technical documentation.
  • Analyzing failure modes to contribute to design for repairability and testability, collaborating with development teams to integrate test and repair requirements into future designs.
  • Acting as the technical point of contact for external repair teams, supporting and performing repair operations, organizing activities, and defining priorities for long-term reliability of electronic assets.
  • Participating in a stand-by team for interventions on operational power converters after appropriate training.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives for testing methods and quality processes.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Electronics Technical Engineer position include:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in analogue and digital electronics design and development, including printed circuit board layouts.
  • Relevant experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and fault analysis processes.
  • Exposure to software development used in electronics testing or control systems is considered an asset.
  • Technical competencies in testing and measurement of analog electronic circuits, including a functional understanding of microcontrollers and FPGA gateware for system-level hardware validation.
  • Proficiency in designing analogue and digital electronic circuits using industry-standard tools such as Altium Designer.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software for test automation.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Electronics Engineering or a closely related field. This educational background is essential to ensure a solid understanding of the principles and practices involved in electronics design and testing.

Experience:
