Job Overview: The position of Chef de projet Stockage is crucial within the context of HI's emergency response to the Sudanese refugee crisis in Chad. The role involves establishing a shared storage service for humanitarian organizations, ensuring that objectives, results, and impacts related to storage and stock management are achieved. The project manager will be responsible for the operational and administrative management of storage activities, organizing and supervising the quality of services provided to organizations. Duties and Responsibilities:
Pilotage and development of the shared storage service: Oversee the overall management of the ATLAS storage service and implement the operational strategy. Define orientations, objectives, and action plans to ensure the relevance, efficiency, and development of the service for humanitarian organizations. Manage the budget, risks, and project monitoring, providing reports to management and donors.
Organization and supervision of storage operations: Design, implement, and enforce storage processes and procedures. Organize and supervise daily operations, including demand management, goods entry and exit, and flow management. Ensure compliance, safety, and quality of logistical operations.
Quality of service, coordination, and continuous improvement: Coordinate with user organizations and ensure the quality of service delivered. Establish and monitor performance indicators for the service (activity, quality, satisfaction). Identify dysfunctions, manage incidents or disputes, and lead service improvement actions.
Team management and resource management: Supervise, train, and evaluate teams involved in storage operations. Organize human and material resources to adapt capacities to operational needs. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and hygiene, safety, and quality management standards for warehouses.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a warehouse manager, along with experience in management and the humanitarian sector.
