Job Overview:

This role is crucial in identifying gaps in regional coordination and data, assessing engagement scales, and articulating ADB's comparative value in fragile contexts. Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will undertake several key responsibilities including: reviewing and synthesizing analytical materials such as internal ADB notes and partner analyses; organizing these materials into a coherent analytical framework; developing a mapping of partners and projects related to nutrition and food systems; assessing engagement scales and thematic focuses; identifying key gaps in nutrition outcomes and regional coordination; articulating ADB's value in fragile contexts; analyzing nutrition as a regional public good; providing analytical inputs for Trust Fund concepts; and identifying future knowledge and partnership opportunities. The intern will also be expected to produce various analytical outputs, including a partner and project mapping matrix, gap analysis notes, and synthesis slide decks for internal use.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in fields such as nutrition science and policy, food systems, economics, environmental science, sustainability, public policy, or a related interdisciplinary field. Strong analytical synthesis skills, literature review capabilities, and structured writing skills are essential. The candidate should have a keen interest in nutrition, food systems, climate resilience, and regional cooperation, with the ability to translate academic analysis into actionable policy insights. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be currently enrolled in a PhD program in relevant fields such as nutrition science and policy, food systems, economics, environmental science, sustainability, or public policy. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of nutrition-sensitive investments and regional cooperation.

Experience:
