Job Overview:
The ServiceNow Architect will be a key player in the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU) at the World Bank Group. This role is crucial in supporting and developing service catalogs, building Service Level Agreements (SLAs), utilizing Flow Designer, and customizing modules within the ServiceNow platform. The incumbent will work closely with clients and internal business processes, ensuring that the solutions provided are customer-centric, innovative, and transformative. The position requires a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities, as well as the ability to lead a team in delivering high-quality service and support. The architect will also be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with the World Bank Group's business goals, fostering collaboration among tech teams, business units, and external partners to meet the organization's needs effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: supporting clients and internal business processes based on the ServiceNow platform; managing Incident & Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Asset Management, and Change & Release management; customizing and building in-house applications; providing production support as needed; designing testing plans and executing tests; writing necessary scripts for application customization; performing day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform; maintaining business services and configuration item relationships; developing and managing application code and user interfaces; creating necessary development documentation; leading a small team and managing their work programs; performing core configuration tasks; managing data with Tables and the CMDB; creating Workflow activities and approvals; investigating performance issues; and providing post-rollout production support. The architect will also be expected to have a deep understanding of REST, WSDL, JSON, and integration with third-party applications.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Additionally, certification as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist is required. Experience in leading a team of at least three members is essential. The role demands a strong technical background in ServiceNow and related technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Educational Background:
A Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required for this position. The educational background should ideally include studies in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline that provides a strong foundation for understanding the technical aspects of the ServiceNow platform and its applications.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant field, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow platform administration and development. Candidates should have experience leading teams and managing projects, as well as a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a timely manner. Experience in working with various ServiceNow modules and functionalities is crucial for success in this role.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.

The selected candidate will be hired on a four-year renewable term contract, which may be extended for an additional year based on business needs and performance.
