Job Overview: The Deputy coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Finance Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Coordinator by processing accounting and financial transactions and fulfilling various tasks as required. This position involves close collaboration with the Finance Coordinator to implement and monitor financial procedures across different bases. The Deputy Finance Coordinator is responsible for managing the finance team at the Coordination level and supervising the administrative teams at the bases, with guidance from the Finance Coordinator. Additionally, this role includes managing cash processes such as cash transfers and donor payments at the mission level. In the absence of the Finance Coordinator, the Deputy Finance Coordinator will assume some of their responsibilities. The position faces challenges such as managing a high volume of diverse projects, many of which involve partnerships with local entities, and navigating a volatile context that requires flexibility to respond to urgent requests, including new proposals and budget revisions.
