Job Overview: The Technical Officer - Shelter will be responsible for implementing a plan of action for a portfolio of shelter projects, ensuring that all activities, budgets, and documentation are managed effectively. Required Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in a responsible position within an NGO or an international/national company, with proven experience in the technical implementation of construction projects. Knowledge of developing bills of quantities (BoQs), technical specifications, and construction activities is essential. Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills are required, along with advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, GIS, and CAD. Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory, and knowledge of Microsoft Project and other design programs is considered a plus.
