Job Overview: As a Senior ERP Applications Assistant, you will be an integral member of the ICTS Functional Support Unit (FSU), which is tasked with delivering enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and services to all OSCE personnel across field missions and institutions. You will report directly to the Chief ICT, Functional Support, with the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director, Head of ICTS, serving as your second-level supervisor. Your role will involve analyzing and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for ERP systems, particularly in the domains of Human Resources, Finance, and Materials Management. You will also be responsible for optimizing end-to-end business processes within the ERP ecosystem, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory frameworks. Additionally, you will lead the configuration, testing, and deployment of ERP enhancements and new modules, ensuring they meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Your position will also require you to coordinate patch management, upgrades, and data migrations with technical teams to minimize system disruptions, deliver second- and third-level functional support, troubleshoot complex ERP issues, and act as a liaison with vendor support teams. Furthermore, you will design and conduct targeted training sessions to improve ERP adoption and self-sufficiency among users, recommend emerging ERP features and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency, and ensure that ERP practices align with organizational policies and data governance standards.

Analyzing and documenting business requirements and translating them into ERP functional and technical specifications across HR, Finance, and Materials Management domains.
Documenting and optimizing end-to-end business processes within the ERP ecosystem.
Leading the configuration, testing, and deployment of ERP enhancements and new modules.
Coordinating patch management, upgrades, and data migrations with technical teams.
Delivering second- and third-level functional support and troubleshooting complex ERP issues.
Acting as a liaison with vendor support teams.
Designing and conducting targeted training sessions and user enablement initiatives.

Required Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you must have completed secondary education, supplemented by specialized training or formal studies in computer science. A first-level university degree in Finance, Materials Management/Supply Chain, HR, or Computer Science is desirable. Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Cloud HCM, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL are also desirable. You should possess a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in ERP functional analysis, configuration, and implementation, specifically using Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. A university degree in a relevant field may substitute for up to two years of working experience only for eligibility purposes. Experience in business process integration and optimization across core ERP modules is essential, along with hands-on experience in developing ERP functional specifications and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as experience in second/third-level ERP user support and training delivery to end-users.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a completed secondary education, with specialized training or formal studies in computer science. A first-level university degree in Finance, Materials Management/Supply Chain, HR, or Computer Science is highly desirable, as it provides a foundational understanding necessary for the role. Relevant certifications in project management or ERP systems are also beneficial and can enhance your qualifications for this position.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in ERP functional analysis, configuration, and implementation. This experience should specifically involve working with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. Candidates with a university degree in a relevant field may have up to two years of their experience waived for eligibility purposes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business process integration and optimization, as well as hands-on experience in developing functional specifications and leading solution rollout activities.
Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence process owners is crucial. While English is the primary language required for this position, knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly in a multicultural environment such as the OSCE.
Additional Notes: This position is a full-time contracted role at the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna, with a monthly remuneration of approximately EUR 6,260, subject to social security deductions. OSCE salaries are exempt from taxation in Austria, and social benefits include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are typically made at Step 1 of the OSCE salary scale, with the possibility of an initial appointment at up to Step 3 in exceptional cases.
