This educational foundation is essential for understanding the technical aspects of radioactive waste management and contributing effectively to the section's objectives.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in areas such as editing, document writing, and training related to radioactive waste management. Experience in knowledge transfer and working with international organizations is highly valued. The ability to demonstrate prior professional experience in the specific fields of pre-disposal, disposal, or disused sealed radioactive sources will be beneficial for applicants.
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory for this position. Additionally, knowledge of another official language of the IAEA, such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish, is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's profile.
