Job Overview:
The internship program at the IAEA is designed to provide students and recent graduates with practical work experience in a professional environment that aligns with their academic studies or interests. Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be expected to support the development and testing of AI-based workflows for processing technical and safety documents. This includes tasks such as semantic retrieval, summarization, classification, and validation of outputs from large language models (LLMs). Interns will assist in implementing front-end components that facilitate user interaction with AI-processed documents, contributing to user interface development. Additionally, they will play a role in the deployment and operation of AI services in a cloud environment, particularly using Azure, which involves document ingestion pipelines and basic monitoring activities. Interns will also support process improvement initiatives and knowledge management solutions that enhance the review of complex technical materials.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree or be currently studying in fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Nuclear Engineering, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience through a university-level project portfolio in relevant areas is considered an asset. Excellent written and spoken English is essential, and knowledge of any other IAEA official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is advantageous. Candidates must be at least 20 years old and have completed three years of full-time studies towards their first degree. They may apply up to one year after completing their degree and must not have previously participated in the IAEA's internship program.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this internship includes a university degree or ongoing studies in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field. Candidates should have completed at least three years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution, which demonstrates a solid foundation in their chosen area of study. A strong academic record and relevant coursework will be beneficial for applicants.

Experience:
While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with demonstrated experience through university-level projects in relevant areas will have an advantage. Languages:
