Job Overview:
The Finance Officer KSW position is designed to support NRC's field offices in Isingiro, Kyaka, Rwamwanja, Nakivale, Kyangwali, and Oruchinga. The primary function of this role is to ensure that the finance department operates efficiently in areas of financial accounting, management, monitoring, and reporting. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Finance Officer will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities including supporting the Finance Coordinators in daily reconciliations and financial analysis, assisting in timely monthly closing of accounts, and ensuring that field offices meet agreed deadlines for financial reporting. The officer will review financial documents from various offices to ensure timely receipt and accuracy. Collaboration with the logistics department is essential to maintain an updated asset register that matches physical assets. The officer will prepare trip reports for assignments, provide training to staff on financial procedures, and support program staff with budget reviews and forecasts. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, finance, or accounting. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, with additional experience in international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) considered a plus. A CPA3 qualification is an added advantage, as is knowledge of Agresso financial software. Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with a strong attention to detail in policy and practice. Strong financial analysis skills and integrity are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, finance, or accounting. This foundational education is critical for understanding the complexities of financial management within a humanitarian context.
