The contractor will assist in the preparation and execution of the 53rd session of Working Group III focused on ISDS Reform, the Colloquium, and other Working Group sessions related to Dispute Settlement, Electronic Commerce, and Insolvency Law. The contractor's responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and ensuring that all necessary materials and resources are available for the successful conduct of these meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the individual contractor include but are not limited to:
Providing administrative support to officers of ITLD in the organization and servicing of UNCITRAL Working Group sessions and the Colloquium.
Assisting in the preparation of meeting agendas, documentation, and reports.
Coordinating logistics for the meetings, including venue arrangements, equipment setup, and catering services.
Managing communication with participants, including sending invitations and confirming attendance.
Supporting the technical aspects of the meetings, particularly if they involve online platforms.
Ensuring that all meeting materials are prepared and distributed in a timely manner.
Assisting in the follow-up of action items and decisions made during the meetings.
Maintaining accurate records of meetings and participant attendance.
Providing general office support as needed to facilitate the work of the ITLD.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a high school diploma as a minimum educational qualification. Additionally, candidates must have at least two years of experience in general office support or a related area. Experience in servicing official UN meetings is highly desirable, as is familiarity with online meeting platforms. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in using standard office software and communication tools is also expected.
