Job Overview: The Partnerships and Visibility intern at UN Women Nordic Liaison Office will engage in a variety of tasks that enhance understanding of UN communication strategies and methods. This internship is designed to provide excellent learning opportunities, allowing the intern to participate in UN Women’s engagements with diverse stakeholders throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions. Duties and Responsibilities: As a Partnerships and Visibility intern, the individual will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies that promote UN Women’s mission. Duties may include assisting in the preparation of advocacy materials, conducting research on gender equality issues, supporting the organization of events and meetings, and engaging with various stakeholders to enhance visibility and partnerships. The intern will also be expected to contribute to social media campaigns, assist in drafting reports and presentations, and help maintain databases of contacts and resources relevant to UN Women’s work in the Nordic and Baltic regions.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate an understanding of gender equality issues. Proficiency in using social media platforms for advocacy and outreach is essential.
