Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting internal and external communication to enhance the visibility and impact of TED's initiatives and results.
  • Preparing comprehensive background information for country engagements, which may include country analyses and instrument concepts.
  • Creating engaging presentations and briefings that outline democracy-promoting measures.
  • Actively participating in multi-stakeholder exchange formats and meetings, contributing to discussions and sharing insights.
  • Taking detailed notes and minutes during both internal and external meetings to ensure accurate documentation of discussions and decisions.
  • Collaborating with team members to develop innovative approaches to democracy promotion and human rights advocacy.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as political science, public administration, social sciences, law, economics, or business administration. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to tailor information to suit different audiences. Analytical skills are crucial for understanding complex issues quickly, and candidates should demonstrate an interest in developing and implementing innovative solutions. Organizational skills, teamwork, and effective time management are also important attributes for success in this role. While prior experience in German or international development cooperation is preferred, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with democracy-related issues will be advantageous.

Educational Background:
