Job Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role under the supervision of the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director, ensuring the logistical performance of the Country Office and coordinating its implementation to provide optimal support to various programs. The position involves contributing to the definition of the Country Office's strategy, coordinating logistics at the national level, and managing international transport in collaboration with headquarters. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Country Office's safety policy, promoting collaboration and logistical coordination with partners, and preventing and managing situations of fraud and corruption. Additionally, the role includes supervising and supporting the logistics team in the capital and acting as the functional manager for the Logistics Manager on bases, overseeing a total of 71 collaborators. The position requires working closely with the country management team to ensure that logistical policies and procedures are responsive to the local context, providing advisory support on logistics processes, analyzing trends, and implementing the Action Against Hunger Logistics and Procurement Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Coordinator will be tasked with a comprehensive set of responsibilities including:

• Contributing to the strategic planning of the Country Office's logistics operations.
• Coordinating logistics at the national level to ensure efficient supply chain management.
• Managing international transport logistics in collaboration with headquarters to facilitate timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ensuring the relevance and monitoring the implementation of the Country Office's safety policy to protect staff and assets.
• Promoting collaboration and logistical coordination with partners to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Preventing and managing situations of fraud and corruption to maintain integrity in logistics operations.
• Supervising and supporting the logistics team in the capital and acting as the functional manager for the Logistics Manager on bases, ensuring effective team performance.
• Working with the country management team to ensure that organizational logistical policies are adapted to the local context.
• Providing advisory support on logistics processes and approaches in close coordination with program and support teams. 1

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Logistics and possess over 3 years of experience working on logistics projects within humanitarian contexts. Experience with Action Against Hunger is highly desirable. Applicants should demonstrate capabilities in planning, organizing, and executing logistics operations, with a clear understanding of humanitarian principles, the code of conduct, and the specific roles linked to NGO field operations. Knowledge of local, regional, national, and international logistics and procurement policies is essential for this position.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Logistics or a related field. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of logistics management in humanitarian settings and for effectively contributing to the strategic planning and execution of logistics operations.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in logistics management, particularly in humanitarian contexts, is required. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully managing logistics operations, demonstrating their ability to adapt to challenging environments and work effectively under pressure. Experience with Action Against Hunger or similar organizations will be considered a significant advantage.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication with diverse stakeholders and partners in the field.

• The monthly gross salary ranges from 2597 to 2968 euros, depending on experience, and includes a 13th-month salary. Non-French citizens will receive reimbursement of pension insurance at 16% of the gross monthly salary. An annual salary increase of 6% is guaranteed after each 12 months of continuous contract. Additional benefits include a monthly per diem and living allowance of $838 net, a country allowance of 150 euros, and a child allowance of 1500 euros per year per child present in the country of origin (with a maximum of 6000 euros per year). Transportation and accommodation costs will be covered, and ACF provides 100% medical coverage for health and repatriation insurance for employees and their dependents. The organization also offers salary sustainment measures for sickness, paternity, and maternity leaves, along with 25 days of paid leave per year, 20 rest and recuperation (RnR) days, and airfare reimbursement for RnR periods.
