Job Overview:
The IT Operations Specialist position at WFP is crucial for maintaining the IT Service Desk and providing comprehensive support to all staff members working for WFP Ukraine. This role is primarily based in Kyiv and is expected to support approximately 150 colleagues, with a particular focus on senior management. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring that IT systems and networks are functioning optimally, implementing innovative IT solutions, and providing technical support for hardware, software, Microsoft applications, and cloud services. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong understanding of IT systems and networks, with a focus on data security and access controls. Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting, as well as experience with Microsoft applications and cloud services, is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Familiarity with procurement processes and asset management is also required. Additionally, candidates should have a proactive attitude towards implementing innovative solutions and improving system performance.
Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates with relevant certifications in IT service management or network administration will be considered favorably. Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or operations, preferably within a humanitarian or non-profit organization.
