Job Overview:
The Driver position at UNESCO's Regional Office in Jakarta is crucial for ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of staff, officials, and visitors. The Driver will also be expected to assist with basic clerical tasks when not driving, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Driver will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: driving UNESCO staff, officials, and visitors using official vehicles; ensuring the provision of reliable and safe driving services; meeting personnel and visitors at the airport and facilitating visa and customs formalities; translating in the local language when necessary; driving on field trips; maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition through daily logs and timely repairs; ensuring all required documents and supplies are available in the vehicle; reporting accidents accurately and timely; delivering and collecting mail and documents; performing clerical tasks such as photocopying and filing; and undertaking the duties of other drivers when they are on leave. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Director or Supervisor as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess secondary education and a valid Indonesian driver’s license type A (SIM A). They should have a minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in Jakarta, with a strong knowledge of local driving rules and regulations. Experience in transporting executive personnel and a safe driving history are essential. A police clearance certificate (SKCK) may be required prior to hiring. Candidates should also have experience driving various types of vehicles, including light passenger vehicles and SUVs, and possess skills in minor vehicle repairs.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position is secondary education. Additional certifications or training in defensive driving and personal safety are considered advantageous, enhancing the candidate's qualifications for the role.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a professional driver, particularly in Jakarta. This experience should include knowledge of local driving regulations and a proven track record of safe driving.
